The company was founded in 1999 by Ramon Guerrero, and since then has established itself as a leading marine survey contractor in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. In addition to our owned equipment, INDEMAR maintain effective working relationships with a number of specialist suppliers enabling bespoke survey packages to be offered as required, including deepwater rig site clearance and environmental surveys.
INDEMAR have successfully completed over 100 marine based contracts throughout the DR and the Caribbean, ranging from inland surveys to full scale multi-parameter seabed mapping projects covering hundreds of square kilometers of coastal seabed.
Working extensively with clients within the oil and gas sector, INDEMAR are fully compliant with stringent industry standards, are registered with Achilles and have FPAL Verify status. The company has also become a leading provider of services hydrographic and geophysical survey in the DR and the Caribbean. Having acquired an unprecedented volume of data within the marine exploration work over the past decade, the company is well positioned to provide the necessary expertise required for the most environmentally challenging sites. Our level of experience in this sector is among the highest in the Caribbean. We also work regularly with port and harbour authorities, wave and tidal energy developers, utility providers, NGOs and marine dredging firms.
INDEMAR employs over 10 professional, full-time personnel with a wealth of experience and expertise covering the disciplines of hydrography, engineering geophysics, marine geotechnics, engineering geology, oceanography and maritime biologist.
