INDEMAR Coastal Engineering offer a range of services including hydrographic and geophysical survey, geotechnical sampling and ROV/AUV survey and inspection.
We utilize a wide range of industry specific UAV platforms, cameras and sensors which are operated by a team of highly skilled certified drone pilots.
We specialize in the building of docks, wharves, piers, subaqueous pipelines, waterfront structures and coastal protection projects mitigate potential risks of flooding and land erosion by implementing techniques such as rebuilding beaches and building protective berms and dunes.
Our site surveys explore and analyze the geophysical, geotechnical and environmental aspects needed to provide valuable information for wind farm planning processes. We offer these as a package or as a stand-alone service.

Hamlet is the Director of Business Development at INDEMAR where he is expanding the company into new vertical markets. Hamlet has over 35 years’ industry experience holding a variety of operational and senior management roles within international engineering companies including AES Corp and Odebrecht. He holds a BSc. in oceanic engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Angel is INDEMAR’s Technical Director. He has over 25 years’ experience in managing onshore and offshore engineering projects for major oil and gas and marine companies. His early career provided experience as an automation/controls technician working onshore and offshore installations. He has held lead roles in previous projects for development of unmanned environmental remediation systems, ROV systems, and Geospatial Technology Project.
Ramon Guerrero is CEO of INDEMAR. In that role he has overseen the growth of the business from its inception to becoming Caribbean leader in coastal and offshore surveys. In particular over the last twenty years he have successfully completed over 100 marine based contracts throughout the DR and the Caribbean, ranging from inland surveys to full scale multiparameter seabed mapping projects covering hundreds of square kilometers of coastal seabed. Ramon is a trained in Hydrographic Surveyor at the US Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO). Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, USA, who prior to found INDEMAR had a career in the Dominican’ Army having different positions, up to Director of Military Cartographic Institute.
